Preparing for the future isn’t just a smart business move - it’s an essential step for the survival of an organization. Listen in for actionable tools to create a governing strategy that is forward-thinking, innovative and shines a light on the areas that may be holding your organization back.
Today’s episode is all about being nimble and prepared in the face of unknowns. For our guest, Jeff De Cagna, AIMO, FRSA, FASAE, Executive Adviser of Foresight First LLC, the future has always been front of mind. He coined the term “duty of foresight,” which underscores the ethical responsibility of making decisions that benefit future generations rather than immediate interests.
Together, host Christine Shaw and Jeff discuss the essential practices that leaders and boards can implement to emphasize sustainability and forward-thinking governance. Plus, Jeff explains the beliefs and thinking patterns that block organizational growth and innovation and the steps an association can take to thrive in an ever-changing world.
